How many more fake “first” second life claims can you think of?
Watch out folks, as I warned you, corporations continue to land like flies into Second Life, claiming to be “first” to do this and that. Whatever.
It’s nauseating to watch. But now that I am considering how far behind these creeps are (2 to 5 or even 10 years behind depending who you ask) , I’m happy seeing them flail around like the corporate minions they must be behind these “corpratars”.
What’s amazing is that the worst offenders come from so-called “real” businesses. Luckily well-known blogs such as Clickable Culture usually keeps up with these frauds and calls them out. I guess everyone knows already that these “agencies” are frauds, and it’s not even worth pointing out, it’s just simply what they do.
As for me, it just affirms what I’ve already explained to be a state of panic that these types are in. Devoid of creativity, ideas, or value, they copy copy copy whatever comes in front of their vacant heads. Beware of imitations.
